Resources for Authors
The Legal Magazine’s mission is to lead the debate on law and the legal profession, and to engage, inform, and stimulate lawyers, researchers and other legal professionals in ways that will improve outcomes for clients. We aim to help lawyers to make better decisions.
To achieve these aims we publish original articles, review and educational articles, news, letters, investigative journalism, and articles commenting on the professional, scientific, social, political, and economic factors affecting law. We are delighted to consider articles for publication from doctors and others, and from anywhere in the world.
We audit the performance of the Legal Magazine articles, using a wide range of indicators to assess their impact on readers and their dissemination to the wider world.
The full text of every article published in the Legal Magazine is immediately accessible on legal-magazine.com through open access, for everyone. The Magazine is committed to keeping research articles Open Access (with Creative Commons licences and deposit of the full text content in a repository as well as fully Open Access on legal-magazine.com).
Please see the section of instructions to authors on Copyright, Open Access, and Permission to reuse.
Open peer review
We ask reviewers to declare any competing interests on any manuscripts we send them. Reviewers advise the editors, who make the final decision.
